In this song, you will hear about Moritz's letter to his friend's mom, Mrs. Gabor, and the information he discloses in his note to her about his stresses with school. He is hoping for some Self-Validation, expecting that she will tell him it's okay, or give him money to escape. After hearing her response to his letter, he starts to disclose to the audience how he actually feels about everything and how hard his life is. This is an example of Identity Management, he is trying to get us on his side by opening up to us, like he did to Mrs. Gabor; however, he is looking for a better response from the audience than he got from her.
